1. What do you expect from an “ideal spouse” or “ideal significant other”?
2. Abraham performed a selfish act. What are some selfish acts that we perform in a relationship that could create friction?
3. What distract us from a growing relationship with our spouse or significant other?
4. Share a specific incident in your life where you have been distracted.
5. God views marriage to be permanent. To uphold this relationship, we need to learn to love our spouse or significant other (Eph. 5: 28).  Share three specific ways you can demonstrate this love.
6. Busyness robs you from a growing relationship. How can you be less busy?
7. How can you stand up for your spouse or significant other?
8. How can you be a better spiritual leader?
