Sermon Title: Love and Respect

Scripture: Ephesians 5:21-33

1. Name two areas that are most important to your life and explain why.
2. What are some basic needs among men and women?
3. Name three uncompromised values you have and explain why.
4. Name two people that have influenced your life. How have they influenced you?
5. Name two skills that come very natural for you. Note how your skills do not coincide with your peers in the small group. How can these differences be an asset? How can these differences be a liability?
6. Women need “love.” We can demonstrate love in the following four ways:

1. Spend time with her.
2. Listen to her
3. Open your heart to her
4. Apologize for your mistakes

Identify one of the above ways you will work on actively this week for a female friend.

      7. Men need “respect.” We can demonstrate respect in the following three ways:

      1.  Affirm him

      2.  Do not degrade him

      3.  Support him

Identify one of the above ways you will work on actively this week for a male friend.
