1. Share one of your childhood heroes. Explain why he or she is your hero.
2. Daniel was taken into captivity by the Babylonians to be trained as a future leader. What challenges did he face in this new environment? What boundaries did he need to set?
3. How do our environment/ culture influence us in a negative way?
4. What must we do in order not to compromise our values?
5. How can we develop a greater devotion to the Lord?

7. Why is discipline so important to spiritual growth?
